FOOD DRIVE - all year donations by Members

 SCOTTISH  VETERAN'S RESIDENCY, CRANHILL, GLASGOW.

We have now taken the decision to  support Scottish Veteran's Residency, Cranhill, Glasgow. We will have a large box at the entrance to the Church throughout the year and in this our Members and Friends will be regularly donating all sorts of tinned food and non perishable items. Once the box is full we will contact the Residency to make arrangements for them to come and collect the items and this will  happen regularly through the year.  Our Harvest Service is held in October and donations almost double. 

GLASGOW CITY MISSION

We also have a retiral colletion at Harvest and Christmas which is donated to  Glasgow City Mission and each year at Christmas one of our Sunday School Teachers collects various items such as hats and gloves, socks, toiletries and gent shaving items etc which members donate and she makes up gift bags which she delivers in the weeks prior to Christmas for distribution to their clients.
